Kshara Sresthata – advantages of alkaline cautery:- सर्वशस्त्रा अनुशस्त्राणां क्षारः श्रेष्ठो बहूनि यत् छेद्यभेद्यादिकर्माणि कुरुते विषमेष्वपि बुःखावचार्यशस्त्रेषु तेन सिद्धिमयात्सु च अति कृच्छ्रेषु रोगेषु यच्च पाने अपि युज्यते Of all the sharp instruments and accessory instruments, Kshara (caustic alkali) is the best.
